Outreach Committee

The of goal WCE’s Outreach Committee is to increase the visibility, enrollment, and participation of minorities in our industry by planning and participating in outreach events. The WCE Outreach Committee works directly with the Outreach Director, meets virtually once a month to review the Outreach workplan, coordinate and plan for upcoming events, and discuss new potential events to participate in. Depending on the event, additional time is spent preparing for Outreach events such as contacting partner organizations, coordinating volunteers, obtaining materials, and participating in the event day. Outreach events occur approximately once every two months and vary in level of effort and organization.

Volunteering as a member of WCE’s Outreach Committee includes more involvement than participating as a casual volunteer at Outreach events. Both are integral to the success of our Outreach efforts. For more information, please contact outreach@wcevancouver.com.
