We invite you to join us for a spectacular evening of celebration at our Winter Social!

Kick off the holiday season, mingle with new and old friends over drinks and appetizers, and commemorate another wonderful year for WCE.

The evening will begin with our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to reflect on this past year’s success and vote in new Board Directors, followed by awarding our inaugural scholarship winners before we mingle the night away.

WCE experienced a year of growth and accomplishment in 2023. Throughout this year, we delved into the intricacies of setting boundaries, navigating pivotal moments in our career, and honing our negotiation skills. We also deepened our knowledge of sustainable practices within the textile industry by hosting a clothing swap and came together to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED). Beyond these significant milestones, our community extended its reach by volunteering with Impact North Shore and offered their invaluable knowledge as mentors at our virtual and annual in-person mentorship events.
