Following our immensely successful workshop on microaggressions last year, WCE published our Microaggressions Action Plan to summarize the outcomes of the workshop. But the work doesn’t stop there! Standing up for yourself or demonstrating allyship can be challenging, even if you know it’s the right thing to do. That’s why we’ve enlisted Toby Michaud to run an action-based workshop, providing strategies and building skills needed to address these situations.

Toby is an experienced facilitator who leverages her diverse background as a scientist, project manager and leader to facilitate with connection and compassion. She has an enthusiasm for working with people, inspiring the exchange of ideas and guiding the emergence of new thinking and understanding. Toby is deeply passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and can translate these concepts to create opportunities for learning and shifts in perspective. We hope to see you there as we work collectively towards a more inclusive industry.
